Gin Making Classes
There is more to gin than tonic! A Gin Tasting is perfect for hens who love their gin or who want to do something a little different from the usual cocktail classes.
We don’t just taste any old gin – forget all those household names that you can easily pick up from the supermarket – we use spirits that are made in Bath. Espensen Spirit is a female founded, Bristol business specialising in flavoured vodka and gin. Bath Stag and Hen just loves to support other local businesses and we use other fellow Bristol businesses when ever possible! We might be a little biased but we think they are the best!
This is a super budget-friendly activity as it’s effectively your pre-drinks before a meal or big night out; you can see why this option is so popular with hen groups, you can’t go wrong.
Fun and friendly staff
Sam runs the session, so you will meet the founder herself. Sam will talk you through her fantastic range of spirits and you will all try 4 different spirits in this fun 1.5 hour session. The tasting session can be held in our own city centre venues, however, if you prefer, Sam can come to your privately rented accommodation. We have plenty of availability for these gin tastings as Sam has kindly trained our stag and hen team to deliver tastings in her absence should she be fully booked. As huge fans and customers ourselves there isn’t much we don’t know about her products!
Gin tasting pairs really well with our craft activities like Life Drawing or Flower Crown workshops and the activities can all be held in the same venue for maximum ease.
If you wish to make your own vodka or gin, we can provide workshops where you can make your own 500ml bottles. If you are going out afterwards, then we can arrange for these to be posted to you, prices for this start at £70 per person.
Our exclusive venues are perfect if you are booking other activities with us; everything happens in the same place, so no having to round up the girls to traipse all over the city centre in heels and getting lost. Popular activities booked together are life drawing classes or a flower crown workshop, followed by a cocktail class.

If you are staying in hen cottages, camp sites or apartments and would rather we came to you, then we also offer mobile cocktail services. We cover all areas of the South West. All glassware, equipment, ice and stock are provided. We literally bring the cocktail party to you for just £35 per person.
